Description
Children will learn the basics of cake decorating and working with fondant while creating a fun character cake.
They learn to go through a recipe step-by-step and bake a cake from scratch. They learn about proportions, balance and then they carve the shape of their character. We are safety concious and each child is supervised individually and wear kevlar safety gloves when working with carving knives.
Once they carve the shape, they crumb coat, put on fondant and add embellishments like facial features etc. That sounds much easier than it is 🙂
As with all of our classes, the cake, icing, tools, and supplies to create this project are supplied. You just bring yourself and be ready to have loads of FUN!
